Hard hitting linebacker for Colonels in the mid 1960s…helped lead the team to two unbeaten seasons, three MAC championships, and a four year record of 24-8…named to ECAC All-Star team as center in 1965…as linebacker in 1966, he intercepted five passes, returning two for touchdowns to earn his second ECAC All-Star berth…co-captain of 1967 team and named MAC and Associated Press first team All-State selection…served as assistant football and wrestling coach in 1968…member of 1966 wrestling team that won NCAA national championship.
