Merrifield helped the Colonels to a non-conference split against King’s and Muhlenberg, averaging a double-double with 43 pts on 13-29 shooting, 10 rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. The senior guard also shot 8-17 from three-point range across both games. Against King’s, Merrifield dropped a season-high 30 points in an overtime loss to King’s with six three pointers, both season-highs.
