Mia Leon shined in her collegiate debut as the Colonels swept their season-opening tri-match against Rutgers-Newark and St. Joseph’s Brooklyn, totaling 37 kills, five blocks, and two aces. In the five-set win over the Scarlet Raiders, Leon led the team with 25 kills, five blocks, and one ace. In the sweep over the Bears later in the afternoon, Leon added 12 more kills and another ace (both team highs) to help the Colonels to victory.
