McCoy helped the Colonels to a tri-meet sweep against Marywood University and King's College as he won two individual races as well as being on the Wilkes 400 Medley Relay that earned first as well. The first-year was first of four swimmers in the 1,000 Freestyle with a time of 12:29.95 and then he won his second individual event of the meet in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:52.66 against two other swimmers.
