Merrifield helped the Colonels to a Landmark Conference split against Goucher and Elizabethtown as he averaged 19.5 points and hit seven threes. During a 82-63 win over Elizabethtown the junior scored a season high 24 points while adding two assists and two steals. He shot 50% from the field and from three-point range as he was 9-for-18 and 4-for-8 respectively. Merrifield added 15 points at Goucher as he connected on three from behind the arc against the Gophers.
