Shafer recorded 54 kills over four matches to take over the program record for career kills as Wilkes went 3-1 on the week. He recorded 63.0 points, 13 digs, eight blocks, and four aces on the week. He led Wilkes past Widener in the first matchup of Saturday's tri-match by tying his career high with 22 kills. In the match he hit .625 with only two errors on his 32 total attacks.
