Boyd helped Wilkes to a 2-0 opening day on Sunday at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic as she hit .500 (3-for-6) with four RBIs, one run, and one walk. During the Colonels 11-2 victory in five innings over Norwich University Boyd hit an inside the park grand slam as part of a seven-run second inning. In a game two 3-2 victory over Penn State Harrisburg the senior went 2-for-2 with a triple and walked once.
