Mia Butka had an incredibly consistent week at the plate for the Colonels, registering a hit in all but one of the team’s eight game slate. Butka went 2-for-3 in game one against Misericordia, and went 1-for-4 in game two while pitching a win. In game one against Scranton, went 1-for-4 with a two run homer that sparked the Colonels fifth-inning comeback over the Royals. In game two, Butka went 2-for-3 and hit a walk-off two-run double as Wilkes swept their conference opponents. The first year finished the week with a three-run homer in game two against DeSales University that lifted Wilkes to a 5-3 win and a road split with the Bulldogs. She finished the week going 9-for-26 with 7 RBIs, two doubles, and two home runs.
