In 1994, Richard Maslow set out to create a premier local golf experience rooted in both excellence and community. To bring his vision to life, he partnered with world-renowned golf course architect Rees Jones, whose design established the course as both a challenging and beautifully integrated landscape. Complementing the course, the distinctive clubhouse, designed by acclaimed architect Peter Bohlin of Bohlin, Cywinski, Jackson, added a timeless architectural presence that has become central to the club’s identity. Today, the club begins an exciting new chapter under the ownership of a group of local families: the Barbacci, Horn, Lambert, McCarthy, and Metz families. Each brings decades-long ties to the club, along with a shared commitment to preserving its heritage while thoughtfully evolving for the future. Wilkes men's golf has used the course as its home since 2017.
