WILLIAMSPORT – The Wilkes University volleyball team snapped its five-game losing skid with a 3-1 (25-22, 25-22, 18-25, 25-23) win over Lycoming College. 

           
Katherine Harrington (LaFayette, N.Y./LaFayette Central) and Julie Page (New Milford, Pa./Blue Ridge) combined for 23 of the team's 37 kills on the night with Harrington garnering a team-high 12 and picked up her first double-double with 16 digs. 

           
Page had 11 kills on the night with just four errors in 33 total attacks, while libero Allison Kelleher (Sayre, Pa./Athens Area) had a team-high 24 digs defensively. Kaitlyn McGurk (Swarthmore, Pa./Ridley) and Marissa Harrison (Shavertown, Pa./Lake-Lehman) reached the 20-dig barrier for the first time this season with 21 and 23 respectively.   

           
The Lady Colonels will be back in action Wednesday when they head to Center Valley to take on DeSales at 7 p.m. to open Freedom Conference action.
