The Wilkes University men's soccer team traveled to Dallas, Pa. to take on conference foe Misericordia Tuesday, ultimately falling to the Cougars by a score of 3-0.

All of the scoring action occurred in the first period, as goals by Nick Ferguson, Tim Bullis and Joey Scanlon were able to find the back of the net for the Cougars. The second half provided opportunities for Wilkes to score, and with under eight minutes left the Colonels were able to get off a shot on goal, but were unsuccessful.

Wilkes was out-shot on the day 13-11, with only one shot on goal while surrendering three scores to their opponent.

With the loss the Colonels fall to 5-8 on the year and 1-2 in Freedom Conference play. Their next match-up will be against Eastern at home on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Ralston Field. That game will begin at 2:30.
