WILKES-BARRE – Wilkes University lost to cross-town rival King's College 4-0 in Freedom Conference men's soccer action on Tuesday evening.

The Monarchs (10-6, 3-2), playing at home on their senior night, controlled the game offensively from the outset. King's tacked on two more goals in the second half in the 72nd and 73rd minute.

Kaleb Smith (Beavertown, Midd-West) started and split time in goal with Dakota Cole (Towanda, Troy), as the two combined for four saves.

The Colonels (4-12, 1-4) will have three home games over the next week to wrap up their season, including a game this Saturday afternoon against Manhattanville where Wilkes will honor its three senior players. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. from the Ralston Athletic Complex.
