GLENSIDE - A goal in the 111th minute was enough to down Wilkes University as the Colonels lost to Arcadia University 3-2 in overtime in a non-conference men's soccer game on Wednesday evening. 

Michael Turner (Hudson, Coughlin) got Wilkes on the board first, getting his team-leading seventh goal of the year in the 15th minute. Arcadia struck back 12 minutes later on a header that found the back of the net before taking a 2-1 lead in the 51st minute.

The Colonels then knotted the score at two apiece when Ed Zulkoski (Mountaintop, Crestwood) hit the top right corner of the goal, just under the crossbar on an unassisted shot in the 81st minute, taking the game to overtime.

It would be six minutes into the second overtime when Mike Cahill's 15-yard shot grazed the top crossbar and fell into the goal for the win.

Keeper Kaleb Smith (Beavertown, Midd-West) went the entire way in the net for Wilkes, posting 12 saves. 

The Colonels (4-8, 1-0) return to the pitch this Saturday when they travel to play Eastern University. Game time is set for 3:00 p.m.
