HERSHEY - Wilkes University competed at the Fall Blue Jay Golf Classic hosted by Elizabethtown College this afternoon at the Hershey Links golf course, finishing 14th overall.

Four Colonels competed, combining for a final score of 374. Jonathan Florence had the best round, posting an 88 on the par 72 course, including a birdie and four pars. Seth Bartlett finished with a 94, Kaleb Smith (Beavertown/Midd-West) shot a 95, including a 45 on the back nine, and Michael Turano (Browndale, Pa./) had a a 97. 

Franklin and Marshall, the winners of the event, shot a combined 312. 

Wilkes returns to the course on October 18, competing in Muhlenberg College's tournament in Allentown.
