Colonels Notebook
• The Colonels travel to Alliance, Ohio to battle four schools from their western neighbor at the Mount Union Duals on Saturday.
• WU went 3-1 at the John Reese Duals last Saturday, defeating Hunter (30-10),
Lycoming (23-10) and Stevens Tech (24-12), before losing to Centenary (24-12).
• Colonels wrestlers went a combined 25-16 in the duals last Saturday.
• Previously unranked, Centenary jumped up to 16th in the latest NWCA rankings.
• For the first time this year the Colonels will square off against a ranked team as they grapple with No. 19 Ohio Northern and No. 29 Mount Union, in addition to
Mount St. Joseph and Baldwin Wallace.
• The Colonels faced three of their Saturday opponents last year, going 4-0 with victories over Ohio Northern (24-19 & 24-15), Mount St. Joseph (30-13) and Mount Union (27-9).
• Four individual opponents are nationally ranked by the NWCA (as of 11/17): Ohio Northern's Luke Miller (157 - 1st) and Kyle Kwiat (174 - 2nd); Mount Union's Bill Schindel (197 - 4th); and Mount St. Joseph's Sean Jameson (285 - 9th).
• WU moved from 24th up to 21st in the latest NWCA team rankings, released 11/17.
