Colonels Notebook
• The Colonels return home after facing tough competition last weekend as they host Division II East Stroudsburg on Thursday night at the Marts Center.
• WU went 1-2 at the National Duals in Iowa last weekend, its first ever trip; the
Colonels also competed at the North-South Duals, splitting their four contests.
• This is the first of four home dual meets this season; ESU is 4-8 on the season and competed in the Wilkes Open back in December.
• Warriors assistant coach Charlie Brenneman is a professional MMA fighter, posting a 12-2 record since July 2007.
• The Colonels moved back up two spots to No. 17 in the NWCA national rankings on Monday; WU has been ranked as high as No. 14 this season after starting out the season 6-2 in dual matches.
• After going 3-0 at nationals, Anthony Dattolo (Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) (149) moved up two spots in the NWCA individual rankings to No. 6; He had beaten Wartburg's Jacob Wroth 13-6, who was previously ranked seventh; Dattolo is now 19-2 overall this season.
• Wrestlers looking to compete Thursday night for the Colonels include five
freshmen, four sophomores, four juniors and just one senior.
