WILKES GOLFERS FINISH 16^TH SHOOTING A COMBINED 348 AT THE ELIZABETHTOWN FALL CLASSIC

HERSHEY, PA – The Wilkes University golf team competed at the Fall Blue Jay Golf Classic hosted by Elizabethtown College this afternoon at the Hershey Links golf course, finishing 16th overall.

Five Colonels participated in the event shooting a combined 348 at the Par 71, 6,600 yard course at the Hershey Country Club. In all, 94 total players from 18 different schools were entered in the event.

Matthew Kachurak led the Colonels finshing tied for 25^th shooting an 80. Michael Daubert (Thornhurst, PA/Coughlin) followed tied for 56^th place with an 85. Darren Mensch (Muncy, PA/Muncy) shot an 89, tying for 74^th place. Anthony Gagliostro (Washington Township, NJ /River Dell Regional) (tied for 88^th) shot a 84, while Ian Waleck (Dingmans Ferry, PA/Delaware Valley) (90^th) rounded out the Wilkes competitors with a 95.

Wilkes will return to action Tuesday when they host Misericordia University at the Huntsville Golf Club at 1:00 p.m.
