Following the tie Wilkes moves to 4-3-3 overall and 0-0-2 in Freedom play. It marked the second straight 2OT tie in league play having played to a scores tie in their opener at Misericordia last week. FDU stands 5-8-1 overall and 1-0-1 in conference matches. Wilkes dominated play in their offensive end throughout but were unable to put it past Devils keeper Melanie Pierson. Sam Lindo (Hazlet, NJ/Raritan) was solid in net finishing with three saves, including a point blank stop late in regulation time to preserve the tie for the Lady Colonels. Wilkes held a commanding 15-4 shot advantage, while garnering 12 corner kicks to FDU's one attempt.
