ROBERTS LEADS WILKES WOMEN'S SOCCER OVER FDU-FLORHAM 2-0

Madison, NJ—Alicia Roberts (Hatboro, PA/Upper Moreland) scored two goals in shooting the Wilkes University women's soccer team over FDU-Florham 2-0 Saturday afternoon.

With the win, the Lady Colonels improve to 8-3-1 and 2-0 in Freedom play while the Devils fall to 3-10 overall and 0-2 in the Freedom Conference.

Roberts scored her first goal of the day at the 10:16 mark on an assist from Ashley Graham (New Hampton, NY/Minisink Valley). She added her second score at the 65:25 mark on a helper from Lyndsay Ellis (Shavertown, PA/Dallas).

Katie Mahoney had five stops in net before giving way to Hayley Kay (Danville, PA/Danville) who picked up one save of her own.

The Lady Colonels return to action Wednesday looking to remain unbeaten in conference play when they host DeSales in a Freedom Conference matchup at the Ralston Athletic Complex. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
