• Wilkes enters this weekend's competition with a 1-3 overall mark facing former Metropolitan Conference foe Elizabethtown College in a dual match Friday followed by entry in the East Stroudsburg Open on Saturday.
 
• The Colonels have seven wrestlers who have notched atleast five wins already this season in just five events as well as 20 wrestlers with .500 or better marks.
 
• Junior Myzar Mendoza (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) is ranked 7th at 133-pounds according to the latest NWCA Individual rankings, while Michael Fleck (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) is tabbed 10th at 125-pounds and Kris Krawchuk (Slatington, PA/Northern Lehigh) is ranked 7th at 149-pounds (d3wrestle.com)
 
• Krawchuk was recently named d3wrestle.com/WWSport.com “Wrestler of the Week” for his performance at the John Reese Duals where the junior went 3-0 with three wins over ranked opponents.
 
• The Colonels captured second place in the Monarch Invitational in the season opener as two wrestlers earned individual championships (125- Guesseppe Rea (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) and 133- Myzar Mendoza (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill)).
 
• Wilkes went 1-3 at the John Reese Duals last Saturday earning a 28-6 win over No. 18 Johns Hopkins.
 
• Wilkes enters the 46th annual East Stroudsburg Open for the first time in program history. Wilkes will meet ESU in a dual match later this season.
