• Wilkes, ranked No. 19, returns to its home mat as the Colonels welcome cross-town rival King's College on Senior night Friday.
 
• WU posted three wins at the McDaniel College quad match last Saturday with victories over Ursinus, UMBC, and host McDaniel. The Colonels have won 14 of their last 15 dual matches dating back to the North/South Duals in early January.
 
• Senior All-American Anthony Dattolo (Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) stands with 104 career wins, seven behind the school's all-time leader John Conte who finished with 111 victories. Dattolo remains unbeaten on the season at 27-0 at 149-pounds. He became only the fifth Wilkes wrestler to reach the 100-win plateau in the programs rich history earlier this year.
 
• Wilkes features one ranked wrestler, two contenders, and three honorable mentions according to d3wrestle.com rankings (2/1/12). Dattolo is tabbed 5th at 149, unbeaten at 27-0. Myzar Mendoza (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) (21-6) and Ryan Wilson (Manasquan, NJ/Wall Township) (20-6) are listed as contenders at 133 and 141 pounds respectively. Michael Fleck (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) (125), Nathan White (Ellicott City, MD/River Hill) (165), and Dustin Stough (Friendsville, MD/Northern Garrett) (174) all garnered Honorable Mention selections in the poll.
 
• Michael Fleck (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) is four wins short of tying the school record for wins in a single season held by John Conte (36 wins, 1999-00)
 
• Nine Colonels wrestling Friday have at least 20 wins on the year; 28 Colonels have .500 records or better thus far this season.
 
• One individual from King's is also ranked/honored in the d3wrestle.com poll: Mike Reilly, 8th - 184.
