WILKES GOLFERS FINISH 1-1 AT HOME TRI-MATCH

DALLAS, PA – The Wilkes University golf team finished 1-1 in its spring home opener Tuesday afternoon at the Huntsville Golf Club. The Colonels posted a 355-357 win over cross-town rival King's before falling to the University of Scranton 304-355.

Mark Wallis (Carbondale, PA/Carbondale) and Anthony Gagliostro (Washington Township, NJ /River Dell Regional) each shot an 87 to lead the Colonels. Michael Daubert (Thornhurst, PA/Coughlin) followed with a 90, while Jeremy Nolt finished with a 91 and Ian Waleck (Dingmans Ferry, PA/Delaware Valley) carded a 96 on the par 72 course. John Rohreach rounded out the Wilkes participants shooting a 110.

Wilkes will be back on the course Monday, April 16^th when it participates in the Misericordia Invitational.
