WILKES GOLFERS FINISH 7^TH AT MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

HERSHEY, PA – The Wilkes University golf team finished in 7^th place carding a two-day total of 735 at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships Sunday afternoon at the Hershey Country Club.

The Colonels shot a combined 364 in round one before posting a 371 in round two of the event.

Anthony Gagliostro (Washington Township, NJ /River Dell Regional) led the Colonels finishing in 24^th place shooting a 94 in round two and a combined 176 over the two days. Michael Daubert (Thornhurst, PA/Coughlin) finished with a team-low 85 in round two after a 95 in round one and two-day total of 180 to capture 28^th place. Jeremy Nolt (184/30^th), Darren Mensch (Muncy, PA/Muncy) (195/34^th), and John Rohreach (216/38^th) rounded out the Wilkes competitors.

Manhattanville College captured its second straight Freedom title posting a 609. FDU-Florham followed in second with a 664, while DeSales University shot a combined 672 for third place.
