With the win Wilkes improves to 3-1 while Baptist Bible drops to 1-3 on the year. Just seven minutes into the game, Eric McAnena (Horsham, PA/Abington) took a breakaway pass from Joe Brennan (Oakdale, CT/Montville) and put the ball in net to put the Colonels on the scoreboard. Two minutes later the Colonels snagged another goal. Michael Turner (Hudson, PA/Coughlin) took a dish from Trevor Lear (Schnecksville, PA/Northwestern Lehigh), and placed the ball just over the goalies fingertips. In the second half, the aggressiveness began to pay off for the Colonels. Two minutes into the second half, Eric McAnena (Horsham, PA/Abington) found his second goal of the night. Twenty minutes later, McAnena's battery-mate Brennan found the net when he took a shot from the top of the circle just getting past the outreached fingers of the Defenders goalie. With ten minutes left in the second half the Colonels added two more goals. Nick Patricia scored on a breakaway goal on a pass from Jason Kieffer (Lancaster, PA/Hempfield). The last goal of the night came from Hunter Murray (Aberdeem, MD/Aberdeem) on a give-and-go pass from Ian Moyer (York, PA/Eastern York). The Colonels led in shots with 29 of which 17 were on goal.
