WILKES MEN'S SOCCER DROPS 1-0 CONTEST TO LEBANON VALLEY

EDWARDSVILLE – Cam Alexander scored the game winning goal off a Jake Herron dish at the 49:12 mark in the second half to lead visiting Lebanon Valley College to a 1-0 win over the Wilkes University men's soccer team Saturday evening at Schmidt Stadium.

With the loss, Wilkes evens their record to 3-3 overall while the Dutchmen improve to 7-1.

Lebanon Valley contributed 12 shots of which ten were on goal. The Colonels had eight shots of which four were on goal.

Dave Marr (Muncy, PA/Warrior Run) had nine saves in goal for the Colonels while James Clements recorded the shutout with four saves of his own.

Wilkes returns to play Tuesday when the Colonels host Elmira College at 7:00 p.m. at Schmidt Stadium.
