DOYLESTOWN, PA – The Colonels suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Aggies on Wednesday afternoon in Freedom Conference play. With the loss Wilkes falls to 8-6 (1-2) while Delaware Valley improves to 8-6-1 (1-2) in Conference play.

The Aggies scored in the 69^th minute when Peter Tantillo scored a header from nine yards out off a set piece serve from Kevin Robinson.

For the second half Wilkes was able to garner three corner kicks but were held off the scoring sheet, despite taking seven shots and having several good scoring opportunities not go the Colonels way. Pushing for the lead Wilkes gave up a goal in the 90^th minute to seal the Aggies win. Steve Mannato scored the goal while Robinson picked up his second assist of the game.

The Colonels head back on the road Saturday afternoon when they take on DeSales University at 12:30 p.m. in Center Valley, Pa. It is a crucial game with an important three points on the line for the two Freedom Conference foes.
