Colonels Notebook
• The Colonels enter tonight's dual match with a 9-1 overall mark after posting a pair of wins at the NY/PA Challenge at King's College last Saturday. Wilkes blanked No. 19 New York University 44-0 before a 41-9 victory over Hunter College. The win over NYU revenged a loss last season 18-16 at the John Reese Duals.

• At 133-pounds, senior Myzar Mendoza (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) (91-23) needs just nine more victories to reach the 100-win plateau for his career. He would become the sixth Wilkes wrestler to reach the milestone and the second in three years as Anthony Dattolo eclipsed the mark in 2011-12.

• 16 wrestlers have started with five wins or better and 28 wrestlers stand .500 or better through the first three weeks of competition for Wilkes.

• Wilkes posted a 21-18 victory over the Blue Jays last season on the road. Guesseppe Rea (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg)'s major decision (19-5) at 125 clinched the match in the final bout for Wilkes.

• Wilkes features two wrestlers ranked in the most recent NWCA individual rankings as Michael Fleck (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) and Mark Hartenstine (Easton, PA/Easton) are tabbed seventh in the country in their respective weight classes of 125 and 149. Fleck has yet to wrestle this season and Hartenstine is a perfect 9-0 on the year.

• Elizabethtown features two wrestlers ranked in the NWCA rankings as Julian Meaney is tabbed third at 184-pounds with a 1-1 overall mark and Jeremy Rieth is ranked fifth at 285 not having wrestled yet this year.
