READING, PA – The Wilkes University volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Penn State Berks Monday night in non-league action.

Wilkes slips to 3-7 overall following the loss while PSU-Berks improves to 3-2 on the year.

The Lady Colonels captured the first set 25-22, but fell 30-28 in set two before PSU-Berks claimed the third (25-22) and fourth sets (25-21) to rebound for the victory.

Casey Bohan (Harding/Wyoming Area) led the Wilkes attack with a season-high 23 kills and six total blocks. Ally Paskas (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) followed with six kills and 12 digs. Megan Powers (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) led the passing game with 41 assists while Erin Nothstein (Mertztown/Brandywine Heights) added a team-high 17 digs.

Wilkes makes its 2013 home debut Wednesday hosting FDU-Florham in its Freedom Conference opener at 7:00 p.m. in the Marts Center.
