WILKES WOMEN'S GOLF POSTS 508 IN TRI-MATCH WITH LVC AND MUHLENBERG

EAGLE ROCK – The Wilkes University women's golf team shot a 508 finishing third in a tri-match with host Lebanon Valley College and Muhlenberg College at Eagle Rock Golf Club Saturday afternoon.

Muhlenberg took home first place shooting a 409 while Lebanon Valley followed in second with a combined 434 in the Par 72 course.

Alivia Behnfeldt (Fremont, IN/Fremont) led Wilkes carding a 99 for fifth place. Sara Hagenbach (Hunlock Creek, PA/Lake Lehman) followed with a 115 in tenth place while Christy Taylor (Carlstad, NJ/Lenape Valley) (135) and Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH /Central Catholic) (159) rounded out the Lady Colonel scorers.

Megan Kimmel of LVC claimed medalist honors shooting a low 88 on the day. Emily Unrue was the top Muhlenberg finisher carding a 97.

Wilkes returns to the course tomorrow hosting Arcadia University at 1:00 p.m. at Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Course.
