Arcadia avenged an early season loss to the Lady Colonels and will face McDaniel College tomorrow afternoon for the ECAC South Region Championship. The Lady Colonels finish their season 12-9, while the Knights improve their record to 16-7. Neither team was able to muster a goal in the first 45 minutes of play with Arcadia holding a 7-4 advantage in shots and 2-1 lead in corner kicks. Arcadia's Kayla Haberbosch scored in the 53rd minute off a Lennon Kramer assist to put the Knights up 1-0. Wilkes was unable to register a shot in the second half and was held to just one shot on goal for the entire match. Arcadia registered 12 shots in the second half and 19 for the game. Lisa Semetti (Limerick, PA/Spring-Ford) made 10 saves in goal for Wilkes while Arcadia's Veronica Willig made one save to record the shutout victory.Print Friendly Version
