SCRANTON POSTS 291-325 WIN OVER WILKES MEN'S GOLF IN SPRING OPENER

LEHMAN, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team opened its spring season with a 291-325 loss against the University of Scranton Monday afternoon at the Huntsville Golf Club.

Matt Kachurak (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) led the Colonels carding a 77 (+5) on the Par 72 course. Michael Daubert (Thornhurst, PA/Coughlin) followed with an 81 while Dalton Milam (Blakely, PA/Valley View) (83) and Darren Mensch (Muncy, PA/Muncy) (84) rounded out the Colonels scoring.

Erik Meyers led Scranton with a 71 (-1) to claim medalist honors.

Wilkes returns to the course Sunday playing in the Glenmaura Collegiate Invitational starting at 12:30 p.m.
