WILKES MEN'S GOLF SHOOTS 362 AT SCRANTON TRI-MATCH

GLENMAURA, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team shot a combined 362 at the University of Scranton tri-match as the Colonels fell to both Marywood University and the host Royals on Thursday afternoon at Glenmaura Golf Club.

Scranton took the tri-match with a team score of 297 while Marywood followed in second shooting a combined 306.

For Wilkes, Matt Kachurak (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) led the scorers carding an 85 on the day. Dalton Milam (Blakely, PA/Valley View) followed with a 90 while Corey Hauser (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Coughlin) shot a 91. Matt Williams (Taylor, PA/Riverside) finished with a 96 and John Scalese (Medford, NY/Patchogue-Medford) shot a 98 for Wilkes.

Erik Meyer took medalist honors for Scranton carding a one under 70 for the Royals. Nick Johnson led Marywood with a one over 72.

Wilkes is back in action next Thurday when the Colonels head back to Glenmaura to face Marywood in a dual matchup at 1:00 p.m.
