LEBANON VALLEY BLANKS WILKES MEN'S SOCCER 4-0

EDWARDSVILLE, PA – Lebanon Valley got on the score sheet 1:36 into the game and went on to score three more goals as they blanked the Colonels 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Jordann Ferguson's initial shot was saved and caromed off a Wilkes defender and into the net to start the scoring for the Dutchmen. Ian McGinnis made it 2-0 Lebanon Valley when he finished a beautifully played cross from Austin Freeman. The Colonels were outshot 6-4 for the half and out cornered 6-1.

In the 64^th minute Lebanon Valley's Tyler Skye blasted a shot from the right side into the far left corner. The final goal of the game came in the 83^rd minute when Matt Prince scored on a penalty kick. Wilkes was outshot 13-8 for the game and 7-2 in corners.

Patrick Loube (Boyertown, PA/Boyertown) made two saves in net for the Colonels while Kyle Romm (Hampstead, MD/North Carroll) also had two saves on the day.

The Colonels travel to Susquehanna University Tuesday evening for a 7 p.m. non-conference game against the Crusaders.
