WILKES WOMEN'S GOLF MAKES PROGRAM DEBUT IN LOSS AT DVC

DOYLESTOWN, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team made its program debut Saturday against Delaware Valley College at the Indian Valley Country Club.

The Lady Colonels, in their inaugural season of women's golf, fell 427-441 against the Aggies who are also in their first year as a program in the MAC.

Alivia Behnfeldt (Fremont, IN/Fremont) topped the squad carding a 98 (+26) to take home second overall. Sara Hagenbach (Hunlock Creek, PA/Lake Lehman) finished fourth with a 109, while Catherine Carney (Temecula, CA/Temecula Valley) and Christy Taylor (Carlstad, NJ/Lenape Valley) finished tied for sixth at 117. Kayla Gradwohl (Bath, PA/Northampton) rounded out the Lady Colonel scorers with a 150 finishing ninth.

Wilkes returns to the course Saturday traveling to Susquehanna University for a dual match at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club at 12:00 p.m.
