With the win Wilkes has won three matches in a row and stand at 5-3 on the season, with Arcadia falling to 6-2.Trumbo scored the first goal of the game at the 5:54 minute on a breakaway. Kim Canfield scored :26 seconds later to tie the game at 1-1. Jackie Glanfield made it a 2-1 Knights lead when she scored in the 26th minute when her shot from the right side went past a diving Lisa Semetti (Limerick, PA/Spring-Ford) who was in goal for the Lady Colonels.Just :29 seconds into the second half Micaela Oliverio (Carlisle, PA/Trinity) scored on a shot from the eighteen into the right corner off of a feed from Elena Denger (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth). At the 51 minute mark Trumbo scored her second goal of the game off of another breakaway. The Lady Colonels defense stood tall for the remainder of the game as they held on for the 3-2 victory. Wilkes outshot Arcadia 14-12 and had an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.
