WILKES MEN’S GOLF GOES 1-1 AT KING’S/SCRANTON TRI-MATCH 9/23/2014 8:28:00 PM WILKES MEN'S GOLF GOES 1-1 AT KING'S/SCRANTON TRI-MATCH LEHMAN, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team went 1-1 at its home tri-match posting a 346 team score in the three-team event at the Huntsville Golf Club. Scranton won the event shooting a 323 while King's College finished third posting a combined 350. Matt Kachurak (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) led the Colonel scorers with an 83 (+11) on the Par 72 course. Corey Hauser (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Coughlin) followed shooting an 85 while Arlindo Isidoro (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) finished with an 88 and John Scalese (Medford, NY/Patchogue-Medford) shot a 90. King's Bill Dombowski and Scranton's Erik Meyer shared medalist honors each shooting an event low 77 (+5). Wilkes returns to the course Monday competing in the Anthracite Tournament at the Wyoming Valley Country Club hosted by Scranton at 1:00 p.m.Print Friendly Version
