Wilkes Men's Swimming Edged at Marywood

SCRANTON, PA – The Wilkes University men's swimming team dropped a 216-40 decision at Marywood University Saturday afternoon in the squads second dual meet of the season.

Wilkes falls to 0-2 overall on the year following the dual meet defeat.

Chase Osborne (Lords Valley, PA/Wallenpaupack) finished third in the 50 backstroke with a time of 29.93. Thurman Fogleman (York, PA/William Penn) placed fifth in the 50 breaststroke at 34.28.

Greg O'Malley (Binghamton, NY/Windsor) claimed fourth place in the 50 freestyle finishing at 24.45 and finished third in the 50 butterfly at 27.32. Jake Chielli (Dallas, PA/Dallas) posted a third place finish in the 100 freestyle at 54.93.

Wilkes travels to Madison, NJ Wednesday for a meet with FDU-Florham starting at 4:00 p.m.
