Men's Swimming Competes in First Home Meet since Program Reboot
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's swim team competed in its first home meet since the program restarted last season at the Wyoming Valley CYC, but dropped the decision to Lycoming 72-162 on Sunday afternoon.

The relay team of
Austin Paisley (Sugarloaf, PA/Hazleton Area),
Chase Osborne (Lords Valley, PA/Wallenpaupack),
Christopher Bright (Robesonia, PA/Conrad Weiser), and
Jake Chielli (Dallas, PA/Dallas) took first in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:38.35.
Thurman Fogleman (York, PA/William Penn) broke the school record in the 400 IM with a time of 5:36.99, beating the old record of 5:51.61.
Bright won the 100 Butterfly and qualified for the Middle Atlantic Conference Champioships (MAC's) with a time of 1:04.89.
Corey Edwards (Byram, NJ/Lenape Valley) qualified for MAC's with 1:04.44 time int he 100 back.
Chielli came in second in the 50 free,
Will Hauze (Wapwallopen, PA/Holy Redeemer) took second in the 500 free, and
Michael Henne (Northampton, PA/Northampton) placed second in the 400 IM.
Wilkes return to the pool on Saturday when it travels to Arcadia University for a 4:00 p.m. Middle Atlantic Conference meet.
