Women's Swimming Competes in First Home Meet since Program Reboot
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University wommen's swim team competed in its first home meet since the program restarted last season at the Wyoming Valley CYC, but dropped the decision to Lycoming 100-148 on Sunday afternoon.

The relay team of
Amanda Lopez (Dallas, PA/Dallas),
Megan Evers (Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway),
Danielle McCole (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Holy Redeemer), and
Cassandra Morey (Chemung, NY/Waverly) came in first in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:49.03. The team of Lopez,
Sarah Fasulka (Shavertown, PA/Dallas), Morey, and McCole came in second in the 200 Medley relay.
Morey came in first in the 50 free with a time of 27.25, and came in first in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:08.18.
Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover) finished first in the 400 IM with a time of 5:26.61 setting a new school record, and qualified for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships (MAC's) in the event. She also came in second in the 100 Breaststroke.
Fasulka came in second in the 200 Free, setting a new school record at 2:11.74 in addition to qualifying for MAC's.
Lopez came in second in the 100 and 200 Back.
Wilkes returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Arcadia University for a 4:00 p.m. MAC meet.
