Carley Smith (York, PA/Dallastown) Breaks All-Time Goals Record in Lady Colonels 25-7 Win
 
EDWARDSVILLE, PA – Playing in her last game for the Lady Colonels lacrosse team, senior Carley Smith (York, PA/Dallastown)'s first goal of the afternoon broke the all-time goals record of 214 previously held by Gabby Ford (Elmont, NY/Sewanhaka).
 
With Wilkes up 2-0, Smith scored the record-breaking goal with 24:25 remaining in the first half.  After an Aggies goal made it 6-2 the Lady Colonels notched seven straight goals to firmly take control of the game leading 13-2 with 11:56 to go in the half.  Wilkes would add five more goals before half as they led 18-3 after 30 minutes of play.
 
Wilkes outscored Delaware Valley 7-4 in the second half as they finished of the 2015 season with a 25-7 win.  Smith finished the game with 12 points on six goals and six assists.  Tori Kerr (Beacon, NY/Beacon) scored six goals and added one assist for a seven-point effort while Madeleine Brownsey (Glenside, PA/St. Basil Academy) added five goals.  Samantha Lawlor (Brookfield, CT/Brookfield) and Jessica MacConchie (Jackson, NJ/Jackson) added a pair of goals in the victory.
 
Smith finishes the season with 120 points on 52 goals and 68 assists.  Smith's final career points total stands at 376 points. 
 
Madeleine Brownsey (Glenside, PA/St. Basil Academy) (92 total points) finished the season with 83 goals, which is a single season record for the Lady Colonels.  Tori Kerr (Beacon, NY/Beacon) finishes her junior season with 66 points scored on 56 goals and 10 assists.
 
The Lady Colonels conclude their season with a 10-5 overall record and 2-4 mark in the Freedom Conference.  Delaware Valley ends their inaugural season with a 2-11 record and 0-6 Freedom record.
