Wilkes Women's Golfers Fall to Marywood in Fall Opener

MOUNT COBB, PA – The Wilkes women's golf team dropped its fall opening match at Marywood University 420-497 Saturday afternoon from the Scranton Municipal Golf Course.

Christy Taylor (Carlstad, NJ/Lenape Valley) led all Wilkes scorers carding a 117 on the Par 72 course. Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH/Central Catholic) followed with a 118 while Alexa Flood (Moscow, PA/North Pocono) finished with a 122 on the day. Elizabeth Reyes (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) rounded out the Lady Colonel scorers with a 140.

Up next Wilkes plays host to Misericordia University on October 13 at the Huntsville Golf Club at 12:00 p.m.
