Women's Swimming Defeated at Misericordia
DALLAS, Pa.- The Wilkes University women's team was defeated at Misericordia University on Sunday afternoon by a 152-64 score.

Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) broke her own program record in the 1000 free, finishing second with a time of 12:21.94. Williams also finished second in the 500 free with a time of 5:58.24.
The relay team of
Sarah Fasulka (Shavertown, PA/Dallas),
Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover),
Danielle McCole (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Holy Redeemer), and
Amanda Lopez (Dallas, PA/Dallas) came in first in the 400 free with a time of 4:05.07. The team was trailing going into the final leg when Lopez made a furious comeback to win the race.
The team of Lopez, Fasulka, McCole, and Aspey finished second in the 200 medley with a time of 2:07.98.
Lopez also came in first in the 50 free with a time of 26.85.
McCole finished second in the 100 free with a time of 1:01.73. McCole also finished third in the 50 free with a time of 28.01.
Aspey finished first in the 200 breast with a time of 2:44.57. Aspey also finished third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:33.59.
Wilkes returns to the pool on Saturday for the final home and regular season meet against King's at the CYC. The meet will also be senior day, and the team's outgoing seniors will be honored in a pre-meet ceremony.
