Wilkes Men's Golfers Sit in 7th Place after Day One of AGA Invitational
MOOSIC, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team finished in seventh place shooting a combined 377 over round one of the 2016 AGA College Coal Scuttle Invitational on Saturday at the Glenmaura Country Club.
Connor Johnson (Abingdon, MD/Edgewood) led Wilkes carding an 87 with
Corey Hauser (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Coughlin) following with a 90.
Nathan Hunter (Elysburg, PA/Southern Columbia) finished with a 99 while David Zydko (101) and
Eric Geiger (Schuylkill Haven, PA/Schuylkill Haven) (102) rounded out the Colonel finishers through round one of the tournament.
King's College shot a 310 on the opening day and leads the field by nine strokes. Rosemont stands in second place with a 319 and Marywood in third at 320.
Day two actions resumes at Glenmaura at 11:00 am.
