WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's swimming team made its home season debut on Monday afternoon falling to Albright College 155-86 at the Catholic Youth Center (CYC).
 
Wilkes slips to 0-2 overall in dual meets on the young season.

The 400 medley relay team of Tyler Weatherby (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester County Institutional Technology), Christopher Bright (Robesonia, PA/Conrad Weiser), Anthony Stampone (Kent Island, MD/Kent Island) and Seth Platukis (Sugarloaf, PA/Hazleton Area) broke the school mark in the race finishing fourth at 4:03.36.
 
Weatherby also enjoyed a record-setting day individually for Wilkes breaking the school marks in the 200 butterfly (2:15.60) and the 500 freestyle (5:23.19).
 
Bright also finished second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.91 and third in the 100 breaststroke at 1:08.52.
 
Wilkes returns to the pool Saturday traveling to Cobleskill, N.Y. for a dual meet with SUNY Cobleskill at 1:00 p.m.
