Wilkes Women's Swimming Picks Up First Win of Season Over SUNY Cobleskill 124-117
COBLESKILL, NY – The Wilkes University women's swimming team earned its first win of the 2016-17 season posting a 124-117 victory at host SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday afternoon.
With the win Wilkes moves to 1-4 overall on the young season.

Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) took first in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 12:15.61 and first in the 500 freestyle at 6:01.23. She also took second place in the 100 freestyle at 1:02.85.
Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover) claimed first in the 200 freestyle at 2:15.99 while
Cassie Morey (Chemung, NY/Waverly) was a first place finisher in the 100 butterfly at 1:12.36 and the 50 butterfly at 30.44.
Danielle McCole (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Holy Redeemer) swam to a first place finish in the 100 freestyle at 1:01.76 while taking second in the 50 freestyle at 28.35.
Shannon Hogan (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) broke the school record in the 100 IM coming in at 1:08.60 and a first place spot.
Wilkes returns home next Saturday to host Stevenson University for a dual meet at 1:00 p.m. at the CYC.
