THE MATCHUP
Wilkes University continues its road stretch to end the season hosting Lycoming College at 1:00 p.m. at Schmidt Stadium. Wilkes is looking to end a four-game losing skid and record its second win in MAC play following a 69-13 defeat against Albright College last week at home. Lycoming enters with a 3-4 overall record standing 2-4 in MAC play following a 27-24 win against Lebanon Valley last week.

THE HEAD COACHES
Colonels coach Trey Brown (Colorado '93) enters his third year at the helm of the program in 2016. In just two years, Brown has coached fifteen Colonels who earned All-MAC honors including first team tight end Jeremy Hartman in 2014 and Jason Ugwu (Collegeville, PA/Perkiomen Valley) in 2015. Under Brown's guidance, the Colonels offense ranked in the top five in several offensive statistical categories including passing yards and plays per-game. In a game at Delaware Valley in 2014, the Wilkes offense ran 113 plays, a Division III regulation game record. Brown came to Wilkes after four years serving as the quarterbacks and special teams' coordinator at Muhlenberg. In his role with the Mules, Brown was responsible for coaching the quarterbacks, wide receivers, and special teams as well as the installation of the pass game. Prior to his time at Muhlenberg, Brown spent four seasons as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Lehigh University. The Mountain Hawk offense scored 30 or more points 15 times during his tenure and led the Patriot League in scoring in 2006, when its quarterback was named to the All-Patriot League first team.

Mike Clark (Lycoming '93) is in his ninth season as head football coach at his alma mater Lycoming College. Clark has been a part of 111 wins, eight MAC titles, seven NCAA playoff teams and six NCAA playoff wins as a Warrior. During his time as head coach, Clark has tutored 80 all-conference selections, 18 Hampshire Honor Society members, 17 all-region selections, seven All-Americans, four Academic All-District selections, two Academic All-Americans, a Regional Player of the Year and led the team to seven wins over top-25 programs. The 2015 Warriors finished with a 4-6 overall record, but finished the season with two straight wins, including a 43-42 win over 19th-ranked Delaware Valley in week nine that knocked the Aggies out of the driver's seat for a MAC title. During the season, he coached five all-conference selections and oversaw an offense that finished fourth in program history with 3,806 yards of total offense.

THE SERIES
This will be the 57th meeting between the two schools as Lycoming holds a 39-17 series advantage. The Warriors lead the series 20-8 in Edwardsville, and have won the last five meetings dating back to a 31-14 loss at Wilkes in 2010.
