Wilkes Men's Swimming Scores Second Straight Win with 103-82 Victory Over Stevenson
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's swimming team recorded its second straight victory posting a 103-82 win over Stevenson University Saturday afternoon at the Catholic Youth Center (CYC).
Wilkes evens its mark at 2-2 following the home dual meet win.

The Colonels scored in all 11 events of the meet.
Tyler Weatherby (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester County Institutional Technology) broke his own mark in the 1000 freestyle touching in at 11:13.20. He also bested his own mark in the 100 butterfly with a time of 58.16.
Dominic and
Jacob Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) recorded second and third place finishes in the 50 freestyle in their first action this season with times of 23.91 and 24.04. D. Parfianowicz also took home first place in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.52.
Nick Walker (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) claimed the school record in the 400 IM with a time of 5:09.19, over twenty-seven seconds better than the previous mark.
The 800 freestyle relay team of Weatherby,
Sean Connelly (Ashley, PA/Hanover Area),
Anthony Stampone (Kent Island, MD/Kent Island) and
Seth Platukis (Sugarloaf, PA/Hazleton Area) broke the school mark with a time of 8:08.74.
Wilkes continues its home stretch next Saturday hosting Lebanon Valley College at 1:00 p.m. at the CYC.
