WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's swimming team dropped a 122-53 decision against visiting Stevenson University Saturday afternoon at the Catholic Youth Center (CYC).
 
Wilkes stands 1-5 overall following the dual meet loss against the Mustangs.

Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) broke her own mark in the 1000 freestyle coming in at 12:04.76. Williams also finished second in the 500 freestyle at 5:50.22.
 
Cassie Morey (Chemung, NY/Waverly) finished second in the 100 freestyle at 1:00.08. Allie Aspey (Dover, PA/Dover) claimed first in the 100 breaststroke at 1:20.64 while the 800 freestyle relay team of Shannon Hogan (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty), Williams, Morey and Aspey finished first at 9:15.15.
 
Wilkes continues its home stretch next Saturday hosting Lebanon Valley College at 1:00 p.m. at the CYC.
