Wilkes Women's Swimming Wins Five Events in 102-85 Defeat at William Paterson
WAYNE, N.J. – Sophomore
Morgan Williams (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) won two individual events to pace Wilkes women's swimming in its season-opening meet at William Paterson University, a 102-85 defeat on Saturday afternoon.

Williams set a new program record in the 1000 free, finishing in 12:11.13. She also finished first in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:55.10.

Danielle McCole (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Holy Redeemer) opened the meet with a first place finish in the 200 medley, finishing in 2:01.78. The team of freshman

Maura Clarke (Plains, PA/Coughlin), and Williams captured first in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:57.37.
Hogan finished first in the 100 freestyle with a time of 59.49 and finished second in the 200 freestyle in 2:13.38.
McCole came in second in the 50 freestyle in 27.80 and was the runner up in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:01.45.
Aspey finished in second in the 200 IM in 2:31.84 and second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:20.29.
The Lady Colonels return to the pool on Friday when they travel to Division II Lock Haven University 1 p.m. non-conference meet.
