Wilkes Men's Swimming Completes Final Day of Diamond City Invitational
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's swim team completed the final day of the Diamond City Invitational hosted by King's College on Saturday evening, finishing in sixth place out of 10 teams.

Dominic Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) got the morning started off with a sixth place finish in the 200 backstroke, setting a new program-record with a time of 2:15.23.
Jacob Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) was 18
th in the 100 freestyle, finishing in 52.11.
Nick Walker (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) finished eighth in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:33.36, followed by
Thurman Fogleman (York, PA/William Penn) in 11
th place at 2:39.89.
Tyler Weatherby (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester County Institutional Technology) set a new team mark in the 200 butterfly with a cut of 2:09.61, good for fourth place.
The relay team of Weatherby,
Anthony Stampone (Kent Island, MD/Kent Island), J. Parfianowicz, and D. Parfianowicz set a new program-best in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:26.82 in their fifth place finish.
Sean Connelly (Ashley, PA/Hanover Area) finished the weekend with a 10
th place finish in the 1650 freestyle with a 20:13.66 finish.
The Colonels return to the pool on Saturday, December 3
rd when they travel to Lycoming for a 1 p.m. MAC meet.
